Made in memory of Christina Minter, a.k.a "Bachata Barbie" who sadly left us too soon. She was well known and loved in the international dance scene and this quilt is a representative of many of the dance events she traveled to in her short life.
This quilt was created as a gift for her best friend as a way to honor her memory.
